In the case of a futures contract chart for a specific contract month Example: H14 March , it has a limited life. Therefore, it will only go back so far in time.
Also, depending upon the Data or Trading service you are using, it may not go back to the time that trading began in the particular contract. To get data further back in time you will need to enable the Continuous Futures Contract option for the chart.
